Generation Valuable offers new workplace pathway for people with disabilities 

People with disabilities are so often regarded as a single group, rather than diverse individuals who have so much to contribute. ISS is delighted to be one of 28 organisations that have signed up to Generation Valuable, The Valuable 500’s leadership up-mentoring programme for people with disabilities, which includes members based across four continents.

Generation Valuable is a programme that will offer an amazing leadership opportunity for people with disabilities to have an impact the future of the corporate C-Suite, aiming to drive disability inclusion through systematic change and revolutionise the boardrooms of tomorrow. It aims to build a community of disabled talent to share experiences and let the C-suite of today know how to make businesses more inclusive. Each Generation Valuable participant will be paired with a mentor at C-Suite level in their organisation.

The Valuable 500 is a global business collective of 500 CEOs and their companies, working together to promote disability inclusion. The Valuable 500 has confirmed its first 28 members for Generation Valuable – including ISS. The list of early adopters also features EY, Deloitte, HSBC and Roche.

Generation Valuable will foster new perspectives, deepen understandings, cultivate growth and attack the challenges that talented people with disabilities talent face in moving forward from middle management.

The first cohort will consist of 75 rising stars who have at least five years of management experience. Details will be announced on International Day for Persons with Disabilities in December.

The Valuable 500 aims to encourage members to take part in the ground-breaking programme and is talking to 38 more companies about their possible involvement.
