Celebrating #WorldFMDay2021
On May 12th, ISS was delighted to celebrate World FM Day, an important day for the industry recognising the vital work that the facilities management industry and its people contribute to business worldwide

This year's World FM Day theme was announced as: 'Celebrating FM: standing tall beyond the pandemic', in tribute to a sector that became highly visible due to its crucial role in controlling the pandemic. ISS has collaborated closer than ever with customers to support their organisations and the nation, with many key workers continuing to provide critical services across many of business sectors.
ISS UK & Ireland marked the day with a social media campaign #WorldFMDay2021 which saw many senior leaders across ISS recognising our people and the contributions made by the industry throughout the pandemic.
Liz Benison, CEO ISS UK and Ireland said: “During the pandemic, as we all had to pivot overnight to a new normal way of working, we all proved what was possible in terms of technology, but also in our ability to change rapidly. FM and the future of work suddenly became a board level topic across the world. Going forward, I see ISS working far more with our clients at a strategic level to incorporate the best of our new hybrid world, with a real commitment to safety and well-being and innovation in the workplace.”
