ISS UK and Ireland shortlisted for Business Culture Achievement Award (Large Business)

We are delighted to announce that ISS has been shortlisted for the Business Culture Awards 2018

The Business Culture Awards give ‘forward-thinking organisations a way to celebrate work or projects which sets up their employees to succeed – recognising how their people’s employment experience is fundamental to business performance.’

ISS has been successfully shortlisted for the following categories:

  • Business Culture award for Large Organisations

The category for ‘Large organisations’ recognises companies with 2,500 or more employees that have ‘undertaken a substantial initiative which has had a demonstrable impact on their Business Culture.’ Applicants were asked to evidence how they have advanced their workplace culture, including strategic alignment, leadership development, stakeholder engagement, improving communication, and advancing innovation.

  • Business Culture Champion Award – Matthew Brabin & Stephanie Hamilton

Both Stephanie Hamilton, Head of People and Culture and Matthew Brabin, CEO, UK and Ireland, have been shortlisted for ‘setting and driving the People and Culture approach in ISS and for setting a clear example to others, through their passion and commitment for creating a better workplace.’

The nomination for ISS was about the ‘People and Culture’ journey that ISS has been on over the last 18 months in the UK and Ireland and demonstrated the steps we have taken to transform our ongoing culture journey to enable and engage our employees.

‘We are really proud to be shortlisted in these awards and as we share this across our organisation, we dedicate the nomination to everyone who contributes so positively to our culture’ said Stephanie.

The Winners and Highly Commended organisations will be revealed at the Awards Night on 29th November. Good luck ISS!
