ISS Healthcare Contract named Best Cleaned Hospital at Golden Service Awards
The Team from ISS Healthcare’s contract at the Princess Royal University Hospital received the Best Cleaned Hospital Establishment with more than 250 beds at the 2018 Golden Service Awards
The Golden Service Awards are held every two years and are seen to be the pinnacle of achievement within the cleaning industry. ISS have a long track record of success in the awards but this year the spotlight shone on the PRUH, a long standing ISS Healthcare PFI Hospital near Orpington. The judges were very impressed with the team work and the partnership working demonstrated with both the Trust and the PFI’s SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle).
Individuals were also recognised with Charles Twum being shortlisted as the Healthcare Cleaning Operative of the Year and Susan Da-Silva receiving recognition at the Site Supervisor of the Year for her work at the Beckenham Beacon Urgent Care Centre.
ISS Healthcare also had two finalists in the Best Cleaned Hospital Establishment with less than 250 beds, these were Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and The Walton Centre in Liverpool. Both contracts were well attended with the Clients coming along to show their support.
