After joining ISS as an engineering and logistics services operator in 2006, Jillian spent the next 11 years working with the same customer. Thanks to ongoing learning and development – and his own curiosity – Jillian continued to develop in his role and move into new positions in other sectors. Before taking his current role as Head of Facility Management for the Grand Est region in France, Jillian held the position of FM Contract Assistant, managing 210 sites of one of the world's largest telecommunications operators.
“The world of facility management is very enriching,” Jillian explains. “Anyone can develop with ISS and I am the proof. It is a company that pays attention to its employees and I truly believe I have found a professional family.”

Partnering with the customer – including during the pandemic
As the current Head of FM - Grand Est France, Jillian is now responsible for the management of several large sites of a leading, global IT and digital transformation organisation. Managing a team of 24 people, Jillian leads subcontracting services (maintenance of green spaces, elevators, etc.), manages the customer relationship (on-site checks, audits, etc.), negotiates commercial proposals and oversees budgets.
"My customer sees me as a partner because I offer them the solutions they need – saving them time and money," says Jillian.
The response to Covid-19 has also been an essential part of the value ISS brings the customer. When the pandemic first hit France, Jillian and his team quickly ensured all colleagues were equipped with the right protective gear. He engaged in a daily dialogue with the customer around the Covid-19 response and best practices in the workplace.
"I was impressed by how committed my colleagues were in their response, in spite of the challenging situation,” Jillian says. “My greatest pride is to see them develop.”
