ROSPA Win for ISS in the Manufacturing Sector
ISS awarded a Silver RoSPA for health & safety achievements with clients in manufacturing
ISS is pleased to gain its 9th RoSPA award in 2018. The world-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards scheme – the most coveted prize in occupational health and safety calendar.
The ISS business which deliver{s} FM services to the Manufacturing sector gained a silver accreditation which will be presented in Glasgow. In 2018, ISS gained four Silver and five Gold Awards demonstrating excellence in health & safety for three financial sector clients as well as for public sector; technical services, transport; catering, and the prestigious 4 star Sunborn London Yacht Hotel which is managed by ISS UK.
The RoSPA Awards, the world’s longest-running health and safety awards initiative, attracts nearly 2,000 entries every year from organisations around the world and across a range of industries.
Tim Proctor, Director of Health, Safety, Environment, Quality & Corporate Responsibility, ISS UK & Ireland commented, “This brings our tally of RoSPA awards to a total of 9 in 2018. We are delighted at the combined efforts across our business to ensure that all the people working on and visiting our sites return home safely to their families at the end of each working day.” He concluded, “We continue to drive changes to our safety culture by involving our employees in the solutions to our safety challenges.”
The RoSPAs are over 60 years old, having launched in 1956. ISS will receive the Silver Award in the official ceremony in Glasgow on September 13th, 2018.
