FELISHA Strengthens Women’s Health Awareness through Menopause and Cervical Cancer Health Talk
FELISHA (Female Community Sharing) is a women’s community within ISS Indonesia, established in 2021 as a platform for learning, collaboration, and empowerment for all female placemakers. With more than 450 active members, FELISHA aims to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment through four pillars: Leadership, Work-life Balance, Personal Development, and Financial Management.

As part of this commitment, on Thursday, December 4, 2025, FELISHA hosted a Health Talk titled “Menopause and Cervical Cancer: Myths, Facts, and Ways to Maintain Women’s Health.” The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of cervical cancer prevention and early detection, while also addressing common myths related to reproductive health.
Held in a hybrid format at Graha ISS, the session featured dr. Ivan Maurits Sondakh, Sp.OG, an Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist from Mayapada Hospital, as well as Farida Sinaga, Department Head of Talent Management & Learning Development at ISS Indonesia and a Cancer Warrior who shared her inspiring experience in battling cancer. In addition to educational sessions, the event also provided influenza vaccination, mini medical check-ups, and BMI checks for employees.
During her presentation, Ida Widayani, Vice Chairperson of FELISHA, stated, “Since its establishment in 2021, FELISHA has continued to evolve through several phases designed to strengthen female placemakers at ISS Indonesia. This health talk is one expression of the Work-life Balance pillar. We hope to see more female placemakers grow, gain confidence, and take on roles in the workplace, in line with ISS’s DIB (Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging) goal of achieving a 40 percent female leader ratio.”
The event was made possible through collaboration between ISS Indonesia, CAR Life Insurance, Mayapada Hospital, Praktek Mandiri Dr. Iwan Santoso, and MercerMarsh Benefits.
FELISHA will continue to deliver development programs that support the well-being, growth, and empowerment of women at ISS Indonesia.
