ISS Food Services & Healthcare Teams Shortlisted for Four Industry Awards

The PSC Awards recognise excellent performance and innovation in public sector catering and the prestigious Foodservice Cateys celebrate outstanding personal and team achievements across the foodservice industry
Food Excellence in Education & Healthcare
The ISS Food Services Schools team was recognised for their recent ‘Green Fingers – The Big Grow’ initiative, which saw around 2,000 children engaging with food and gardening virtually, as well as thousands more enjoying plant-based foods in dining halls across England. The campaign landed the team finalist spots for both the PSC Marketing Award and Foodservice Cateys’ Innovation Award.
ISS’ Healthcare Patient Catering and Dietetic Team, led by Lauren Bowen, will join the Food Services – Schools team at the PSC Awards. She and her team have been shortlisted in the Health and Nutrition category, which recognises good practice in the delivery of a clear health and nutrition strategy, which supports customer health and wellness.
Private sector expertise
Petra Bliss, Account Manager with the ISS Food Services Business & Industry team, was shortlisted in the Regional Manager of the Year category at the Foodservice Cateys for her impressive approach to leadership, client relationships and innovation. Petra manages the food services at two key client sites, both of which remained open throughout the pandemic. Glowing testimonials from customers and colleagues saw her secure a well-earned spot on the shortlist.
The PSC Awards will take place on 9th September at the Hilton Metropole and the Foodservice Cateys follows on 8th October at Park Plaza, both in London.
