ISS UK & Ireland scoops awards at the 2018 Global Leadership Conference

ISS UK & Ireland was celebrating last night after being crowned winners of the ‘Race to Great - in People’ award at the ISS Global Leadership Conference in Singapore
The awards, which are extremely prestigious in the world of ISS, were a culmination of the Global Leadership Conference which has been taking place over the last few days, attended by 400 leaders from across the ISS globe to unleash the power of ‘being great together’. 

The ‘Race to Great – in People’ award recognises the UK & Ireland’s commitment to looking after its employees. ISS places a huge focus on caring and supporting all employees in the UK and Ireland (more than 44,000) with important issues such as health and wellbeing, mental health and diversity and inclusion. 

UK & Ireland was also nominated as a finalist in the ‘Race to Great – in Operations’ and one of 12 countries recognised for its success and shortlisted for the ‘ISS World Cup’, which this year was won by ISS Turkey. 

The ISS World Cup is prestigious in the ISS organisation and something that every country strives to win. It is awarded based on achieving success within four key areas; People, Customers, Operations and Results.

Kerry was recognised for her ongoing interest in and engagement with innovation and value creation – a big congratulations to Kerry!
