ISS renews major contract with New South Wales Government Department of Education

Under the renewed 2.5-year agreement, valued at approximately AUD $200 million annually and commencing in January 2026, more than 3,000 ISS employees will continue delivering cleaning services across schools, TAFEs and various government facilities throughout Sydney, South West Sydney and the North Coast.

ISS has partnered with the NSW Government since 1994, a relationship built on reliability, service quality and strong alignment with public value objectives, including ethical employment, sustainability, safety and community impact.

ISS will work closely with the Department of Education through transition and mobilisation planning ahead of the contract commencement in January 2026.
