ISS expands partnership with Southern Cross Healthcare

ISS, a leading workplace experience and facility services company, has been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver healthcare cleaning services across three key facilities operated by Southern Cross Healthcare, New Zealand’s largest private hospital network. The agreement includes Southern Cross Gillies Hospital (Epsom, Auckland); Southern Cross Wellington Hospital (Newtown, Wellington) and Southern Cross Wellington Surgical Centre (joint venture facility).

Under this agreement, ISS will deliver comprehensive cleaning services across clinical and non-clinical areas, including theatres, wards, outpatient zones and amenities, using its Pure Space Health methodology. This framework ensures consistent clinical outcomes, infection prevention and visibly clean environments that support patient wellbeing. A structured mobilisation phase is already underway at two sites, with the third set to commence early 2026.
