ISS is proud to continue its partnership with a wholly owned subsidiary of Macmahon and a leading provider of mining and civil infrastructure services. Since 2012, Decmil has been delivering integrated facilities management services at Homeground Gladstone, a 1,392-bed accommodation facility located in Gladstone, Queensland.

The renewed agreement, commencing in June 2025, marks over nine years of successful collaboration between ISS and Homeground Gladstone. It reflects the strength of our relationship with Decmil and reinforces our commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality services across Australia’s resource sector.

Under the new three-year contract, ISS will continue to provide a comprehensive suite of services including village housekeeping, catering, tavern and retail operations, active life-coach services, and maintenance of grounds and pools. More than 60 ISS Placemakers are committed to supporting the daily operations and needs of the Homeground community.

As part of this next phase, ISS will introduce several innovative enhancements to the site’s catering service. New technology solutions will streamline meal ordering, delivering a more seamless and personalised experience for residents – especially critical during surge periods when the site can accommodate over 900 workers for planned shutdowns and maintenance.

“This contract extension is a strong endorsement of the trusted partnership we’ve built with Decmil over nearly a decade,” said Rebecca Morrison, Commercial Director at ISS Pacific. “It reflects our shared commitment to operational excellence, community impact and delivering services that genuinely enhance the quality of life for residents at Homeground Gladstone.”

Catherine McAllister-Franzi, Director, Energy & Resources at ISS Pacific, added: “This extension is a great example of what strong, values-aligned partnerships can achieve. We are excited to build on that foundation by introducing new innovations and supporting the wellbeing of every resident and worker who passes through.”

“Homeground Gladstone is a dynamic, high-performing site, and we’re proud to be extending our partnership,” said David Ringholt, General Manager Business Development at ISS Pacific. “This continuation reflects our team’s unwavering commitment to service excellence.”

The contract also supports ISS’ broader strategic objectives by strengthening our operational footprint in Queensland’s resource sector and reaffirming our focus on local hire and procurement. It reflects the market’s trust in ISS to deliver complex facilities solutions at scale and reinforces our position as a leading partner to Australia’s resource industry.
