ISS Australia Wins Facility Services Contract with Uniting Westmead

Uniting is a non-for profit organisation providing services in aged care, disability, community, early learning, education and training throughout NSW and the ACT. As part of their approach to assisted living, Uniting Westmead has created a new aged care home for 114 residents, combined with 70 (becoming 230 after stage 2 completion) retired living apartments as well as shared amenities and an early learning center – all in the one campus. The facility is intended to care and support the most vulnerable people in our community including the aged and children. 

ISS is providing both hard and soft FM services across the campus including facility management, building maintenance, cleaning, catering, linen, security, grounds and concierge services. This is the first time Uniting is implementing an integrated FM contract approach to work with one long-term, collaborative partner. 

ISS joins the Uniting Westmead team to create an enriched community and a ‘place to call home’ for residents transitioning to a new stage in their life. ISS will also bring in a number of social initiatives to the whole campus to enhance the community environment. We are introducing technologies that allow for greater connectivity including the MyLife Application, which will provide residents increased ability to access campus facilities and services.

ISS proudly commenced integrated services to Uniting Westmead in late 2020, when residents were welcomed to the facility to enjoy the campus life.
