ISS Facility Services Australia has become a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
ISS has been approved by the Australian Government National Training Regulator as an RTO. RTOs are official providers of quality-assured and nationally recognised training and qualifications. Our RTO status achievement forms a critical part of our future solutions to clients and new employees, in providing confidence that they will receive high quality and compliant training delivered by qualified ISS trainers.
The ISS RTO journey began 12 months ago in response to legislation changes within our Aviation and Transport Division, which required a solution to meet the demands of new specialised training being introduced by the National Aviation Regulator from February 2020.
As a registered RTO, ISS can now commence delivering national Certificate III qualifications in Cleaning Operations to our staff. Scott Erwin, Director of People and Culture ISS Australia and RTO CEO, commented: “The RTO is a significant investment by ISS for building the skills and capabilities of Our People and providing them recognition of their skills with a National qualification. ISS will continue developing and promoting our RTO capability and solutions, supporting the development of Our People within the business.”
Stuart Blair, ISS RTO Manager, has managed our RTO registration journey in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders within ISS Australia, including our Legal, Finance, Cleaning and Aviation Transport teams, and will continue to lead the day-to-day operations of our RTO.
