Ultimate HERO Award Announced

The ISS HERO Awards program is an important part of our recognition culture and acknowledging employees who have gone ‘above and beyond’ in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This internal employee recognition program is a way for ISS to say thanks to our people and reward our Working HEROes. It acknowledges those who live our ISS Values of Honesty, Entrepreneurship, Responsibility and Our Quality, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service and/or safety in their everyday jobs.

The yearlong HERO program allows anyone from ISS to recognise the great work of fellow team members. Any employee can be nominated for a HERO Award, by their colleague, manager or by a customer, as long as they have worked for us for at least three months and meet the nomination criteria. Each nominee receives a Certificate of Achievement, a HERO pin and HERO socks! If they advance further in the program, they are eligible to receive prepaid VISA gift cards and Gold Class cinema tickets. At the end of the year, our Ultimate Working HERO winners receive return airfares and five nights’ accommodation to any Australian or New Zealand capital city plus a $500 pre-paid VISA gift card and a HERO trohpy!
This year all quarterly winners were flown to Sydney for the Ultimate HERO announcement, awarded by CEO Scott Davies.
