ISS Israel joins country’s top CSR community

ISS Israel joins country's top CSR community

ISS Israel has become the first facilities management company to be listed in the Maala Index, the country’s premier corporate social responsibility benchmarking tool.

The Maala Index promotes corporate social responsibility among large and mid-sized companies. Along with other leading companies listed in this year’s index, ISS Israel was officially recognised at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange as it kicked off its official Corporate Social Responsibility Day.

“We are proud of joining the Maala Index,” said Avi Hochman, Country Manager of ISS Israel. “It sends a clear message to the business community about our commitment to corporate social responsibility – and to becoming the greatest service company in Israel.”
 
The Maala Index assesses 110 Israeli companies on their performance in six areas: environment, business ethics, human rights and work environment, community involvement, corporate governance, and social and environmental reporting. In its assessment, the Maala Index has awarded ISS a Gold medal, with especially high scores in the categories Ethical Aspects of Business Conduct, Supply Chain Management, and Diversity & Inclusion.   
“This achievement owes a special thanks to our employees and managers, who ensure that each service is delivered with a human touch,” Avi Hochman said.
