ISS Denmark wins Human Rights Award for giving staff diversity in the workplace
ISS was presented with human rights award by the Institute for Human Rights (Insititut for Menneskerettigheder - MIA) at a ceremony yesterday in Copenhagen.
The award was presented to ISS by the Institute for Human Rights (Insititut for Menneskerettigheder - MIA) at a ceremony yesterday in Copenhagen. It recognises companies that do something extraordinary to make their workplaces both diverse and broad by nature.

In Denmark, ISS has since 2007 focused heavily on diversity in its personnel policy and this has resulted in similar awards from various municipalities around the country.
ISS Denmark has 11,000 employees of which 4,450 are immigrants, 350 are disabled and half of the company’s 1,100 managers are women.
It has ambitious goals for employees in these categories in the coming years. It aims to have 250 immigrant managers in 2011, to educate 200 disabled youths within a two year period and that 40 percent of the top managers are women in 2012.
