ISS raises AUD 36k for Cerebral Palsy Alliance

ISS Australia employees from across the country took part in STEPtember - a campaign from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, increasing their fitness and raising over AUD 36,500 for the charity.
ISS Australia is proud to announce that, thanks to the support and dedication of our employees, over  AUD 36,500 has been raised for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, after taking part in the STEPtember event.

In our first year of participating in this campaign, ISS teams amassed a whopping AUD 18,287.10 through dedicated fund-raising efforts. ISS committed to matching all funds raised and as a result, we collectively donated AUD 36,574.20. Teams of four committed to taking part across a range of ISS offices and contract sites, from mining sites to airports and hospitals. Employees had to wear a pedometer for the whole of September, logging their steps each day on a dedicated website and arranging activities to raise additional funds.

A celebration and presentation took place in the ISS Head Office in Sydney, where a cheque to match the funds raised by employees was presented to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance by Dane Hudson, Chief Executive Officer.

ISS welcomed Nikki Kerr (Business Development Manager) and Lucy Jacka (Partnership Manager) from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. After presentation of the cheque, Nikki addressed the ISS team in Sydney on the outcomes of STEPtember and announced the ISS winners of ‘most steps’ and ‘most funds raised’. She also presented ISS with a plaque and certificates for the winners.
