Copenhagen , 30 July 2008 – ISS has signed a contract with Aguas Araucanía, the company which is responsible for almost the entire water supply and waste water handling in southern Chile.
The Integrated Facility Services contract between Aguas and ISS includes a wide range of services including the full maintenance of the regional water pipes, call center services and repair processes, industrial cleaning, security, landscaping and document handling.
“This is strategically a very important contract because it can spearhead outsourcing of many other tasks and operations in South America. In addition, it is a very exciting agreement for ISS because it includes so many different tasks, among other things the contract contains over 190 different technical functions ISS has to handle,” says Stig Pastwa, COO for USA and Latin America, ISS A/S.
