ISS has entered Taiwan through acquisitions of two leading facility
services companies in the Taiwanese market, "Topman" and "Fealty" with combined
annual revenues of approx. DKK 200 million. Taiwan becomes the 48th country in
the ISS Group.

Copenhagen, 23 January 2007 - The ISS
Group has announced that it has entered Taiwan through an acquisition of
Taiwan's leading facility services and property management companies "Topman"
and "Fealty Properties Management Co. Ltd." The acquisition includes two
subsidiaries of Topman.
The two companies have total revenues of approx.
DKK 200 million and currently around 2,000 employees.
COO Martin Gaarn
Thomsen, who is responsible for Asia at the ISS Group said: "We have been
looking towards expanding our geographical presence in Asia particularly in
countries characterised by growth opportunities in the high end facility
services market. In that respect, Taiwan is a very interesting market with
exciting potential as the market is expected to develop and consolidate in the
coming years, providing ISS with an opportunity to grow our business through
organic growth and perhaps bolt-on acquisitions."
With offices in 10
cities in Taiwan, Topman will from the start ensure ISS coverage across all of
Taiwan. Topman provides cleaning and security (guard and electronic
surveillance) services to department stores, commercial properties, condominiums
and hospitals. Topman has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.
Fealty is a younger company, founded in 2000, providing Facility
Management (FM) and mechanical & engineering services. Fealty delivers its
services to office buildings and residential condominiums. Fealty's largest
customer is Taipei Metro Tower - a landmark building in the capital city of
Taipei.
"By combining the services from Topman and Fealty, ISS will be
able to offer current and future customers a broad range of services from the
beginning - both as single services and a "package" of services, for commercial
customers and large property owners. By combining the strengths of Topman and
Fealty with ISS' international concepts, ISS Taiwan will be able to lead the
market in all customer segments," said Gaarn Thomsen.
Taiwan becomes the
48th country in the ISS Group.
The Chairman and CEO of Topman, Dr.
Kenneth Kao (57), who has 21 years of industry experience, has been appointed
General Manager of the new ISS Taiwan.
