The new COO’s will join the current Executive Management Board of ISS Management A/S in working to fulfil the goals in the Group strategy “Route 101”.

Copenhagen, 7 February 2006 – ISS Management A/S today announced that three new Chief Operating Officers (COO) have been appointed to the Executive Management Board of ISS Management A/S, which is thereby enlarged from five to eight members.

The new COO’s will join the current management team, headed by CEO Eric Rylberg, to strengthen the ISS Group’s efforts to fulfil the ambitious goals laid out in the Group’s strategy plan “Route 101”:

“Our strategic goal of reaching annual revenue of 101 billion DKK across 55-60 countries is ambitious. It requires skilled management at all levels in ISS including at the top level. Therefore, we have decided to enlarge our Executive Management with three new Chief Operating Officers”, said ISS CEO Eric Rylberg.

The COO’s are: Stig Pastwa (38) who is currently Regional Director and a member of ISS Group Operations Management. Allan Aebischer (50) who is currently Country Manager of ISS in Denmark and Hans John Øiestad (51), who is currently Country Manager of ISS in Sweden.

At the same time, Flemming Schandorff (57), who has been one of two Group COOs on the Executive Management Board since 2002, announced his retirement from ISS by 1 April 2007.

“I am very pleased that we are able to promote three highly qualified internal candidates to the top management of ISS. All three have served ISS very well over a number of years and bring valuable operational experience to the Executive Management Board.”

Brief Profiles of New COO’s

Mr. Stig Pastwa
Since 2004, Stig Pastwa has been Regional Director (EVP) responsible for Southern Europe and South America for the ISS Group and a member of Group Management. Stig joined ISS in 1998 and previously served in the Mergers & Acquisitions Department and as Finance Director for Southern Europe. Before that Stig worked for A.P. Møller in Copenhagen and as CFO for Maersk Côte d’Ivoire/Abidjan. Stig has a degree in Management Accounting from Copenhagen Business School, a PED degree from IMD and an ADP degree from London Business School.


Mr. Allan Aebischer
For the past two years, Allan Aebischer has been Country Manager for ISS Facility Services A/S in Denmark. Allan has served ISS in a number of job positions during the last 26 years, e.g. as responsible for ISS Food Services in 7 ISS countries. In 1981, Allan joined ISS Denmark as Management Trainee after finishing a degree in business at Niels Brock – Copenhagen Business College.


Mr. Hans John Øiestad
Since 2004, Hans John Øiestad has been Country Manager for ISS Facility Services AB in Sweden. Previously, Hans John has been CEO of ISS Health Care and ISS CarePartner in Sweden and spent 10 years as COO and before that 4 years as Regional Manager in ISS Norway. He is Norwegian and has a teacher’s degree from Norway.
