ISS credit rating upgraded to BB-
The international credit rating company Standard & Poor’s has upgraded the long-term corporate credit rating of ISS to BB-
Copenhagen, 2 June 2008 – Standard & Poor’s has upgraded ISS’s long-term corporate credit rating to BB- with a stable outlook. At the same time the B short-term corporate credit rating was affirmed.
The upgrade reflects Standard & Poor’s expectations: “that ISS will maintain a strong operating performance which should support a further strengthening of ISS’s financial risk profile and credit measures. Supported by a strong organic growth and growth from acquisitions, ISS’s operating cash flows have continued to grow. This has led to a gradual improvement in credit measures, despite increased debt levels from funding acquisitions.”
“We are very happy that Standard & Poor’s has upgraded our credit rating. This means that we will have access to even better lending conditions. We also consider it a sign of approval and a pad on the back with regards to ISS’s strategy and daily operations,” says Christian Kofoed Jakobsen, Senior Vice President for ISS Group Treasury.
