ISS is ranked as the world’s seventh best in outsourcing on the Global Outsourcing 100 list published in Fortune Magazine.

Copenhagen, 29. April 2009 – ISS has been ranked as the seventh best company in the world among the best service providers and advisors. The list of the top 100 outsourcing companies has just been published in the American Fortune Magazine, known for its Fortune 500 lists of the largest US and international companies.

”Our position as one of the world’s best outsourcing companies is an important recognition of ISS and clearly demonstrates that ISS is a leader in our business, facility services. By choosing ISS as a supplier of their internal services our customers can focus on their core business, while we take care of the services, which are our key competencies,”  says Jørgen Lindegaard, Group CEO, ISS A/S.

The companies on the list have been evaluated by the International Asso-ciation of Outsourcing Professionals, IAOP, on 18 criteria, including growth, employee management and customer references. It is the fourth year that IAOP publishes a list in Fortune Magazine of the top 100 companies, which other companies can use as reference for their outsourcing needs such as facility services, IT and consultancy.

ISS has achieved the ranking as number seven based on its balanced performance, global presence, its business model and service concept. Moreover, ISS has been appraised for its ability to train and develop its employees as well as for its impressive list of clients, including companies such as HP, UBS, BASF and Daimler.

In 2008 ISS achieved revenues of DKK 69 billion operating in more than 50 countries worldwide. The company has more than 470,000 employees.

ISS has catapulted from a position as number 31 on the list of the world’s top 100 outsourcing companies to this year’s position as number seven.

Topping the list are Accenture and IBM. And ISS is also joined by companies such as CSC, and Capgemini.
