ISS appoints new Group Chief Commercial Officer
Copenhagen, 25 January 2010 – Today, ISS announced that Lars Sandahl Sørensen (47) has been appointed new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for the ISS Group. He will also join ISS’ Group Management. Lars will take up his new assignment no later than 1 June, 2010.
Lars Sandahl Sørensen joins ISS from a position as Senior Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer in Scandinavian Airlines (SAS). Lars has also been CEO for the subsidiary SAS International. Prior to SAS, Lars was CEO of Visit Denmark and has worked for IKEA, DI and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Lars has studied, worked and served on boards in Scandinavia, Japan, USA, UK and Australia.

We have created this new position at the Group level because with our strategy “The ISS Way”, we have an increased focus on sales and the commercial agenda. Lars is also experienced in operating in a very large and complex organisation. He has a strong international background, so he will feel right at home at ISS, where we operate in more than 50 countries all over the world.
