ISS has been added to UNI Global Union’s prestigious “Decent Work Companies List.”
UNI Global Union has placed ISS on the select list of companies who ensure decent work conditions and sustainable development, a list which only includes 18 companies worldwide.
Copenhagen, 13 October 2008 – UNI Global Union, which is a global union representing 20 million workers all over the world, has named ISS as an employer that treats its workers well and is setting a good example for other global employers.
CEO Jørgen Lindegaard had the following comment to the announcement: “We are very proud and happy to be added to the ‘Decent Work Companies List.’ It is especially important to us because it is the employees’ choice. Furthermore, it confirms our belief that it is important to have global standards and our ISS Code of Conduct for our employees.”
