ISS grows significantly in Greece by entering the security market
ISS Greece adds 60 % to revenues and expands into the security market through the acquisition of one of the largest security companies in Greece.
Copenhagen, 12 February 2008 – ISS has acquired Aspis Security S.A., the third largest security provider in Greece. This step significantly increases ISS Greece’s size and country-wide presence. Furthermore, the acquisition provides ISS Greece with a solid platform in the Security Services market place while serving as a major step in the strategic transformation of ISS Greece into a country-wide Facility Services provider:

Aspis Security has 17 years of experience within Security and Manned Guarding in both the private and public sector and currently has a workforce in excess of 1,400 employees. Aspis Security management, including the President of the Board, Mr. Stavros Zournatzis, will remain with the combined organisation thus providing long term stability and security for the company, its employees and customers.
ISS is one of the leading Facility Services providers in Greece delivering Cleaning, Manpower, Landscaping, Pest Control and now Security services all over Greece. ISS Greece will be a company with approx. 4,500 employees and annual revenues of more than DKK 610 million.
The closing of the acquisition is subject to approval from government authorities.
