ISS Acquires Norwegian Personalhuset AS

ISS in Norway has acquired the office support company "Personalhuset AS".
Personalhuset AS has annual revenues of NOK 165 million and 57 employees in settled jobs as well as 450 employees, who work as "hired-in" freelancers at the customers. Personalhuset is a significant player in the business areas tele-response and recruitment.
"This acquisition adds important new business areas to ISS. Personalhuset will provide the platform for new office support services such as recruitment and staffing for e.g. call centres, receptions etc. It enables us to broaden our office support, to be even more effective in handling outsourcing processes, and to offer the full integrated facility service solution to more customers", says Country Manager Bjørn Nilsen, ISS in Norway.
During the last few years, ISS in Norway has assisted in several reorganization processes, including in Norway's biggest telecom company "Telenor" and the Norwegian postal services "Posten".
ISS usually offers a job guarantee when companies outsource services and employees to ISS. The competences of Personalhuset will help create more job opportunities and enable reorganization of the workforce in such outsourcing processes.
By acquiring Personalhuset, ISS is upgrading its competences within office support solutions for ISS customers in the Norwegian b-t-b market as well as in the public sector. The Norwegian office support market is growing, as more and more businesses explore the advantages in outsourcing these services.
The acquisition will come into effect by 1 November 2005 and Personalhuset AS will continue its activities under its own brand.
