ISS Thailand acquires security company
ISS has acquired 100% of the share capital of MPA Securitas Limited in Thailand. MPA Securitas started operations in 1962 and today they are a leading security company with annual revenues close to THB 400m and more than 3,000 employees.
MPA Securitas provides manned as well as electronic security services throughout Thailand with headquarters in Bangkok, branch offices in Ayudthaya and Rayong, and operational hubs in Phuket and Chiang Mai.

The acquisition of MPA Securitas provides ISS Thailand with a significant platform entry into the market for security services. The company provides guarding services to both public and private sector customers including local and international airlines, embassies and leading five star hotels as well as the chemical industries.
At the contract signing ceremony at the Pacific City Club Bangkok, the previous owner of MPA Securitas Mr. Hansen, who will continue as CEO, mentioned that during the past few years they have received several invitations for possible mergers or acquisitions of MPA Securitas. However, ISS stood out as their favorite choice when it came to finding a good and safe place for their employees as well as the assurance for continued high quality services to the customers.
