WHO Selects ISS

WHO Selects ISS / Archive - News Stories - ISSFollowing the legally determined open competition in 2004, ISS Switzerland was contacted by the head quarter of the UN body, the World Health Organization (WHO), located in Geneva.

True to the saying "the early bird catches the worm", ISS put together the entire equipment and a 70 men-strong crew. Just three days later - ISS was already in charge of WHO's integrated facility services.

"ISS was definitely the best choice for a large organization, like ours. ISS is a company with an excellent structure and technology. We all know that these days everything needs to be faster and cleaner. Thus, ISS is without any doubts qualitatively the best facility services provider who also offers its client the right price," says François Claude Vilallonga, Facility Manager at the WHO.

WHO's head quarter in Geneva covers approx. 80,500 square meters and employs around 1,000 people. The services delivered by ISS are cleaning, window and carpet cleaning, waste management, internal removals, winter service and parking service.
