ISS Netherlands has been awarded two Golden Service
Awards. The Nij Smellinghe Hospital in Drachten came out on top in the Health
Care category. Furthermore, ISS was awarded for the ISS Management Training
Programme.
It is the third consecutive year that ISS Netherlands
has won Golden Service Awards, but this year's achievement was even better, due
to the double win.
The Golden Service Award jury was particularly
appreciative of Nij Smellinghe's team. It noted that: "Despite construction
work, the hospital is sparkling clean, even the older flooring. Attention is
given to detail and to the prevention of waste accumulation. This is a prime
example of how cleaning clearly determines appearance. There is no question that
this is a well-motivated team of cleaners and supervisors."
Concerning
the ISS Management Training Programme, set up for Task Leaders, Supervisors,
Area Managers, and Project managers , the jury noted among other things the high
quality of some dissertations and the managerial staff's greater insight into
finances as a result of the training programme.
