ISSAt a celebration late Thursday night, the Danish Society of Investment Professionals (DDF) awarded ISS the annual “Information Prize”. It is the third time that ISS receives the prize for the highest standards of market information of any Danish listed company.

“ISS sets and meets very ambitious standards with regard to both printed and electronic communication as well as in its daily investor relations. The high level of ambition drives forward the continuous improvements that we see, and we hope that ISS will serve as a source of inspiration for other companies both in- and outside the KFX index.”, said Jens Houe Thomsen, chairman of the Accounting Committee in DDF.

Eric Rylberg, CEO of ISS was excited to accept the award:

“We are grateful to receive this praise from market professionals. It is an important recognition of our strict policy of openness and transparency”.

Eric Rylberg continued: “From time to time some things will inevitably deviate from our business expectations and objectives. This is exactly why we put great emphasis on delivering transparent and relevant information to the market. We want market participants to be able to evaluate the risks involved in our business.”

In his citation Jens Houe Thomsen focused on three key areas:

  • The information policy of ISS merits the criteria of quality, consistency, continuity and timeliness. The IR function is effective and the company, including the Executive Management Board, is very accessible
  • The website www.issworld.com provides a wealth of investor and business related information while maintaining a good structure. The website is well integrated with the information provided in the annual and quarterly reports.
  • The annual report is clear and reader friendly without compromising the scope and depth of information provided. Examples include the reporting on incentive schemes, executive pay, corporate risk and stakeholder relations, as well as the description of the create2005 strategy. The data segmented by country and business found in both annual and quarterly reports is valuable.
