ISS has secured a major cross-border contract with
Nordea, a leading financial services group in the Nordic and Baltic Sea region.
The deal, worth more than 100 million DKK a year, is one of the largest of its
kind in Northern Europe.
According to the agreement, ISS will service Nordea offices in Sweden,
Norway, Finland and Denmark from January 2005 and onwards. The service package
covers three main areas:
- Catering (canteens and restaurants on major sites)
- Cleaning (approx. 400.000 m2 office space)
- Reception services
"Nordea is a very significant contract win for several reasons," says
director of sales at ISS Denmark, Lars Folkmann. "This is a large contract with
a highly respected company, and the deal supports ISS' ambition to deliver
integrated Facility Services packages with both a national and international
scope," he ends.
The agreement runs for three years after which it is subject to renewal. More
than 270 ISS employees will be working at Nordea's sites in the four countries.
This number includes approximately 100 operatives and managers, who will
transfer from Nordea to ISS.
