ISS UK Receives Four 'Oscars'
For the second year running, ISS UK was recognised at the recent Golden Service Awards 2005, known as the cleaning industry's "Oscars". ISS received the main awards for their operations in both the public and private sectors.
ISS Mediclean's contract at the Royal Brompton Hospital took the overall award for the 'Best Entry of the Year'. They had already received the award for 'The Best Cleaned Healthcare Premises by a Contract Cleaning Company'.
Simon Cox, Managing Director of ISS Mediclean said: "I am so pleased that our team's hard work at the Royal Brompton Hospital has been recognised, they fully deserve the accolade. I was also very proud to see that four of our entries made it to the Final shortlist, which I hope demonstrates our commitment to high standards across the whole country".
ISS Facility Services' contract with Earls Court Exhibition Centre was considered 'The Best Cleaned Leisure Premises by either a Contract Cleaning Company or an In-House Team'. They were also recognised with 'The BICSc Industry Training Award'.
Jim Hayes, Managing Director of ISS Facility Services' London Division said: "The London Division could not have achieved this success without the help of our UK Training & Development Team, along with the commitment of all our people. I am very proud of today's success".
