ISS UK acquires respected catering company / Archive - News Stories - ISSISS Facility Services has made a significant acquisition in the UK catering industry with the purchase of the well-respected Eaton Group. The acquisition signals ISS’ intent to become a significant presence in the UK catering market.

“With the Eaton Group joining our other professional services we have the perfect platform to grow not only single service catering but our fully Integrated Facility Services offering. This is an important link in that chain”, says David Weddell, Managing Director of ISS Business Support Services, who will have responsibility for Eaton.

The dynamic principles and core values of both companies provide an ideal cultural fit with the ethos of ‘Delivering Outstanding Customer Service’ at the heart of everything they do.

Rebecca Thomas, who will remain as Managing Director of the Eaton Group, says: “At Eaton we are passionate about food and doing things properly. ISS has the same sentiments and we are all very excited with this news.”

Originally established in 1984 the Eaton Group employs around 600 staff and has built a strong reputation for staff training and development.  Eaton Fine Dining provides ISS with staff and public restaurants, deli concepts, executive dining, conference and banqueting services with a strong presence in the City of London. Customers include Alexander Forbes, Enskilda Securities and Withers. They also have a growing national presence, with existing clients in the Midlands and the North. These will be merged with the existing business held by ISS Catering, thus providing one clear new alternative in the sector.

Fresh CM, a division of the Eaton Group, provides a full delivered meals service, supporting businesses across London and the South.

With an annual turnover in excess of £20 million and more than 90 contracts the Eaton Group firmly places ISS Facility Services as a major player in the Catering B&I Sector, and when combined with ISS’ Healthcare business gives a combined catering turnover in excess of £90 million per annum.
