To further strengthen its position in the UK market
for integrated Facility Services, ISS has acquired Coflex, a leading Facilities
Management Company.
Coflex has grown steadily since its inception in 1998. The Sunday
Times recently recognised Coflex as one of the most successful companies in
the UK. According to The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, Coflex was one of
the fastest growing companies in the UK (6th in 2002 and
33rd in 2003) and the top facilities and change management
organisation.
Coflex has quickly established itself in the commercial blue-chip sector as a
leading provider of Facilities Management with clients such as Swiss Re, Bank of
Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Lloyd’s, United Business Media, Equitas, Mapeley and
Reality.
The acquisition adds some important new skills to ISS’ integrated Facility
Services offering, including Change Management, Procurement & Finance
Management, Corporate Property Services, Tenant Management and CAD/Space/Project
Management.
“The acquisition of Coflex adds a range of professional skills to our
integrated Facility Services offering. Additionally Coflex’s commitment to their
customers and people compliments the ISS philosophy and culture. We very much
look forward to working with everyone at Coflex”, David Openshaw, CEO at ISS UK
says.
Coflex employs more than 200 people. It is recognised as an “Investor in
People”, as is ISS in the UK.
The acquisition of Coflex, along with the recent purchase of
the Eaton Group (B&I Catering & Fine Dining) has added more than
£60m turnover to ISS in the UK.
