ISS Hong Kong receives Caring Company award / Archive - News Stories - ISSOn 3 February, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service awarded ISS the Caring Company award. The award was given in recognition of ISS' efforts in caring for the community and its commitment to corporate citizenship - in a strategic partnership with the social service sector.

Importantly, ISS Hong Kong has supported the Clown Doctor Program and its campaign mantra of  "I Support Smiles" since 1999. The aim is to bring more laughter and joy to those sick children who are in need of the "Clown Doctor" service at hospitals in Hong Kong.  Clown Doctors visit more than 15,000 critically ill children each year.

Tung Chee Hwa, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong authorities was officiating guest at the Caring Company Recognition Ceremony. Gregory Rooke, Managing Director of ISS Hong Kong accepted the award on behalf of ISS:

"I feel excited to see that some of our business partners also received this recognition such as Hongkong Land, Swire Properties Group, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Ltd., Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp. Corporate Citizenship is one of ISS' core objectives and it is definitely an important element in our strategy.  ISS Hong Kong will continue to play an active role in this Clown Doctor Program by organizing various fund-raising activities," Gregory Rooke said.
