ISS UK was well represented at this year’s Golden Service Awards, held at London’s Savoy Hotel. ISS Facility Services, Food Hygiene and Mediclean all had entries that made the finals.

The Golden Service Awards were launched in 1991 by Kimberly-Clark Professional, and have since then set world standards in cleaning. They are considered the Oscars of the Cleaning Industry, and recognised internationally as a hallmark of quality.

Reaching the finals from the hundreds of entries the competition gets is a success in itself, but being crowned the Best in Category is a special recognition.

ISS Mediclean won the award for ‘Best Cleaned Healthcare Premises by a Contract Cleaning Company’ for its work at the Blackpool Victoria Hospital. The award for ‘Best

Cleaned Shopping Mall’ also went to ISS - ISS Facility Services London Division for their

work at Canary Wharf
