Viking StadiumFounded in 1898, the football team Viking Stavanger is no freshman in the Norwegian premier league. However, since the opening of the brand new Viking stadium on 1 May, the club has the freshest facilities in the league. ISS has been on board from the start, catering to the needs of all VIP guests at the new arena.

At an average match ISS offers buffet dining for 550 ‘standard’ VIP guests, and treats the 220 guests, occupying the lounges, to a full three-course menu. Additionally, ISS operates four bars to help quench the thirst during events.

A total of 57 ISS staff work at the arena during a football match. They have all been recruited through an audition similar to the ones known from the world of acting and music. "We wanted people who can give the little extra to our guests. Now we’ve got a singer and two dancers, who can create extra excitement at weddings and other events, explains Rune Vormestrand, the ISS kitchen chef.

"Things are going very well - we’re pleased with ISS this far", says the chairman of Viking Stavanger, Ole Rugland. "ISS has acted professionally both during the planning and execution phases. Also, It was important for us that ISS has references from other sports arenas", ends Mr. Rugland

ISS services a wide range of sports facilities including places such as the national football stadiums in Norway and Denmark and major sports facilities in France.
