DAF Trucks has again opted for ISS for its locations in Eindhoven in the Netherlands and Westerloo in Belgium. Last year DAF Trucks also outsourced its cleaning maintenance for offices and machinery to ISS.

In April of this year DAF Trucks issued an invitation to tender for the cleaning contract for the paints shops at both of its locations. In Belgium this largely involves the truck cabin paint shops and in the Netherlands the paint shops for chassis, engines and other sheet components. ISS was already active at both sites.

ISS Belgium and ISS Netherlands worked closely together throughout the tendering process. ISS Belgium is very experienced in the efficient management of paint shops in the automotive industry. As a result, we were able to incorporate our PSI system into our tender:

This system enables ISS to determine the need for cleaning on a job-by-job basis and means that ISS can maximise the efficiency and value of the work it does for DAF Trucks. About 50 ISS employees in the Netherlands and 25 in Belgium provide cleaning services at the DAF sites.
