ISS has acquired the Dutch Call Centre company Interfoon Call Centers BV and is expanding the call centre business.

Interfoon is one of the top 10 call centre companies in the Netherlands with operations nationwide. The company provides incoming telephone and email traffic for a range of leading Dutch companies. Interfoon has as turnover of DKK 48m and 250-350 employees, who will be taken over by ISS. The difference is caused by staffing peaks in the care sector.

"We are delighted to welcome Interfoon Call Centers," says Rolf-Jan Goosen, Director of ISS Office Support Services. "For us, Interfoon represents an expansion of the services we offer that fits in with our strategic vision. They are one of the few call centres in the Netherlands where the focus is on consumer customer care. That fits our own current product range perfectly. Another key factor is that their vision mirrors our own: Providing support to our customers in carrying out their primary processes".

With the acquisition of Interfoon ISS takes a strategic position in the emerging market of consumer customer care in the Netherlands. The acquisition follows the recent strengthening in Norway, where ISS in June 2005 doubled its Norwegian call centre expertises with the acquisition of Teleservice.
