Description
Since the privatisation of Brisbane Airport in 1997, the airport has grown from a government-owned entity to a stakeholderfocussed, commercially-driven company widely known for its vision.
The airport has international and domestic passenger terminals, a cargo terminal, a general aviation terminal and apron as well as two runways. BAC’s close ties with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of the world’s most modern and efficient airports, helps ensure worldclass standards in owning, developing and operating an airport that is globally recognised as one of the best privatised airports in the world.
Already there are 320 businesses and nearly 17,000 people who work at Brisbane Airport every day. This is forecast to grow to 50,000 people by 2029.
