Groupe Auchan SA is a French limited company and the holding company for the Auchan group.
The Auchan Group, one of the largest retailers in the world with operations in 12 countries, it is organised around five core businesses: hypermarkets, supermarkets, real estate, banking and e-commerce.
In 1981 Auchan Group started hypermarket activities in Spain with Alcampo. In 1996 Auchan widened its activities in Spain with Sabeco supermarkets.
