Service Solution: Facility Services
With more than 30.000 employees’ Norway Post is one of the largest companies
in Norway. As part of the liberalisation of the postal service market and with
the development of electronic alternatives to the traditional letter, Norway
Post has during the past 3-4 years undergone a dramatic change process. Part of
this process has been to outsource all facility services in partnership with
ISS.
Postens servicepartner AS was established in January 1999 as a joint venture
between Norway Post and ISS Norway. Postens servicepartner has since the
establishment taken over more than 1.650 employees and is now servicing all of
Norway Post’s 1.300 facilities throughout the country.
The development of the joint venture has been a success only through close
co-operation and high-level commitment from both Norway Post and ISS.
