ISS under fire
ISS continued its expansion during the 1970s
with grand visions and a strong faith in the future.
New companies were started up all over the world.
Long before anyone else, Poul
Andreassen began to apply the latest management
theories to the multinational corporation.
In the Nordic countries, women activists went
into action against the wages and working conditions
of cleaning workers. Meanwhile, the oil crisis
of the early 1970s slowed growth throughout the
Western world.
