1960-1973

Internationalisation

The first major generalisation change in Det Danske Rengøringsselskab (The Danish Cleaning Company) came at just the right time. It was on the threshold of the economic boom and internationalisation of the 1960s.

The 34-year old Poul Andreassen took up the position as new managing director in 1962. He galvanised the firm with his keen entrepreneurial spirit, his ability to spot new opportunities, and his courage to aim high. The great potential lay in internationalisation. And the company threw itself into the race to become the biggest market player - even beyond Denmark's borders.

The sixties brought higher growth rates to the firm - both in Denmark and abroad.
