Brave new world

The new world that grew out of the ruins of World War II enabled Det Danske Rengøringsselskab (The Danish Cleaning Company) to seek inspiration and expansion outside Denmark. It was a time of rapid technological development, though the relationship between man and machine was not always a happy one. Despite the advance of machines, the staff shortage was the overall challenge for the company during this period.
