The founding of ISS

The story of ISS began in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen in 1901 with the founding of a night security firm. Several years later, the ambitious lawyer, businessman and art collector C.L. David bought a share in the firm. He played a decisive role in the success of the security firm. This took place during a turbulent period, with the workers’ rebellion, World War I and the collapse of Landmandsbanken, a commercial bank.
