ISS New Zealand is Member of the 'Clean Start Accord'
In New Zealand ISS supports an initiative called 'Clean Start', which focuses on the sustainability of the industry through the development and maintenance of good jobs for employees.
ISS aims at being the preferred employer in the industry and the employees’ conditions are very important to ISS. ISS operates with both a Code of Conduct and with International HR Standards, and in the individual countries additional efforts are made to ensure the well-being of the employees.
In New Zealand ISS is supporting an initiative called 'Clean Start', which is a campaign created by and for building service workers in the commercial property sector. ISS New Zealand is a member of the 'Clean Start Accord' with industry, union, government and Client representative groups.
'Clean Start ' is about the sustainability of the industry through the development and maintenance of good jobs for employees and is designed to act against the deterioration of work conditions for employees in especially the cleaning industry. The campaign focuses on fair hours, workloads, job security, treatment, leave, rights and pay for the workers.
