To give you an overview of the different areas you can work in within ISS we have made a short presentation of some of the possible jobs within each of our services as well as outlining jobs within ISS administration.

In addition to our service front liners described in detail below, we also employ a large number of office-based staff members.

Administration
To run an organisation of more than 500,000 employees we require that our own organisation is run as smoothly and professional as the services we provide our customers. This means that we in all countries where ISS is present have at least one administrative head office requiring skilled and motivated colleagues in sales, operation, finance, HR, marketing, communication and other administrative jobs. 

Together with all our services this provides an opportunity for you to create a life time career with ISS as your only employer while gaining the versatile experiences of many different areas and workplaces.

Facility management

Facility Management is covering a range of services and where we in ISS have more than one service with the same customer we may have an ISS Facility Manager ensuring correct and value adding services constantly through on-going sparring with the customer.

 

Depending on the number of ISS employee more than one leader may be needed.

 

Within facility management you will both find exiting leadership positions as well as possibilities within one or more of our services as a team member.

Cleaning services

Cleaning is not just cleaning and with ISS you can find a range of different areas to work in within cleaning.

 

Daily cleaning is where we have the most colleagues working and often a large part of the working day takes place when the customer is not at work which can be late in the daytime, early in the morning or during the night. This provides many of our colleagues with an opportunity to fit a job with for example studies or other required daytime activities.

 

Apart from daily cleaning we also have opportunities to work with for example window cleaning, laundry, dry cleaning, IT and telephone cleaning and a range of specialised cleaning such as industry, hospital or food hygiene cleaning.

Support services

Support services covers jobs within both front office and back office service areas. You have an opportunity to work in the reception, in document handling, with plant and flower services, with shipping and storage or with many other exiting supporting jobs.

 

In support services we take pride in delivering tailor-made solutions for our customers and thereby removing a range of different administrative tasks from their hands. This also means that when you work within ISS support services you can experience a very versatile job with possibilities to rotate between different functions.

Property services

Handyman, painter, mason, grounds keeper, energy manager and plumber are just a few of the job opportunities in the Property services area. We at ISS take care of our customers’ properties both internally and externally and this requires many kinds of specialists as well as generalists. 

 

Working within property services gives you an opportunity to work with building maintenance, grounds maintenance, environmental management, energy management, damage control or one of our other areas of property management. Some jobs are with a fixed place of work while other covers larger areas within a country and give you an opportunity to meet new people and see new places - almost every day

Catering services

Working in catering you will influence many people every day with high quality, healthy and nutritious meals both our direct customers as well as their customers.
 
Many of our ISS chefs have a background from fine and exclusive restaurants and enjoy a job in a canteen, hotel or hospital kitchen where working hours are a better match with their personal lives. Having many different kind of catering contracts gives us the opportunity to provide you with job rotation and we try to match our jobs with your preferred working hours or location.

Security services

In ISS security you have the possibility to work as guard either at one of our customer’s premises or patrolling as a mobile guard providing a safe and secure environment for several customers.

 

Apart from the visible ISS guard we also service our customers with monitoring (CCTV), alarm systems, key and card services, emergency management, security analysis, safety and security training and similar services which provides a range of other opportunities for you.
