National Account Manager, Morgan Stanley,
UK
"Starting
as a team leader at Heathrow Airport in '93, I have had 12 exciting years and a
lot of challenging roles within ISS. I never felt pushed into a new management
position. It was always my own call to say when I was ready to take on more
responsibility. I have worked as an area manager for 120 Boots stores and also
managed service contracts for KPMG and BP Oil. Since 2000 I have been in charge
of a national multi-service account with Morgan Stanley in London and
Scotland.
"My greatest sense of achievement is to have tripled the revenue of the
Morgan Stanley contract and developed a strong service team over a five year
period. Thanks to the team effort, we recently retained the business for another
five years"
"One of the things I really enjoy about my work is building relations with
customers and end-users. A good day at the office is when you work with your
clients and sense that you are moving beyond a contractor relationship to a true
partnership."
"I am driven to perform to my maximum potential for ISS today by exactly what
made me join the company just over 12 year ago, its vision to become the global
leader in its business and the commitment to developing its people. ISS
envisioned many years ago what many of its competitors failed to, that investing
in people was investing in the future. This excellent business practice has
yield enormous success for the company and remains a strong selling point to
many of our clients"
"My work commands a lot of attention, but I set aside time to focus on my
family and follow my team. Being a fan of Chelsea FC is a lot of fun these
days"
